Cloning gel and rooting gels assist growers with propagating plants. By simply cutting off a branch of a plant, dipping the cuttings into the gel and placing the cuttings in soil flats, cloners, or plant starter cubes of any type, growers can create an exact replica of their plant and preserve the genetics. This ensures the consistency of the flowers’ flavor and smell throughout a crop.

Many different methods have been employed to create cloning gels. The most popular include using Indole-3-buturic acid (I3BA), aloe vera, or mycorrhizal fungi. Each of these ingredients will promote root development and reduce the time required for roots to grow. As illustrated in the table above, products such as Clonex use one of these three methods.

However, when it came time for FOOP to develop a clone gel, we elected to combine all three methods using all organic ingredients. FOOP contains organic willow water (similar to I3BA, but not synthetic), organic aloe vera, and organic mycorrhizal fungi -- and also delivers a rich living microbiome of beneficial bacteria to the roots of plants that accelerates the uptake of nutrients – something that no other clone gel provides.

FOOP Clone Gel also contains organic fish emulsion, organic sea kelp, organic silica as well as naturally sourced calcium, magnesium and micronutrients – all essential to plant growth and development. None of these ingredients are provided in any other clone gel product, including Clonex.
